Fees & Rewards

Litany makes bid liquidity competitive.

The marketplace tracks active bidders, points, ranks, referrals, and fee pool state. The product goal is simple: users who provide useful demand near the floor should be visible, ranked, and eligible for rewards.

Fee Routing

The active fee configuration defines the marketplace fee and how that fee is internally allocated. The default configuration uses a 2.5% marketplace fee and splits the fee pool across bidder rebates, operating, and protocol buckets.

BucketDefault sharePurpose
Bidder rebate pool50%Rewards useful bid liquidity.
Operating pool25%Funds marketplace operations.
Protocol pool25%Funds protocol-level initiatives.

Points

Points are the live accounting layer for marketplace participation. They make bid competition legible before claimable rewards are enabled.

Bid points

Bid points are based on bid quality, not just wallet size. The estimate considers proximity to floor, depth, duration, top-book competitiveness, collection weighting, card boost, and risk adjustments.

bid points =
  base rate
  × collection weight
  × proximity
  × depth
  × duration
  × top-book multiplier
  × boost
  × risk adjustment

Listing points

Listings do not earn by default. They can earn only when a specific listing campaign is live for a collection. This keeps the main marketplace incentive focused on bid-first liquidity.

Leaderboard

The leaderboard ranks wallets by marketplace points, with emphasis on active bid depth. It turns liquidity into a visible competition and gives the market a quick read on who is supporting the floor.

Referrals

Referral codes are opt-in. A referred wallet can generate referral credit when it earns points, subject to caps that prevent referral points from exceeding the referrer's own earned contribution.

Current Status

Points and rewards are being tracked in the product. Claims open later, once the rewards system is live. Until then, the leaderboard and rewards page are the primary visibility surfaces.
